This market is wide and full of cafe, bakery, grocery and souvenir shops.
You may find Leh more expensive than any metro city of India. The reason is clear everything has a freight expenses included into the prices of the things sold here.
Leh Town's main market is wide and designed to accommodate good numbers of tourists.
It is the ideal place to hang around and get the Leh, Ladakh vibes sink in.
It has multistory shops with interesting decorations unique to this region.
You will see people from all over India strolling around in this market.
When you walk on Zangsti Road, after crossing Moravian Church towards Karzu Pond you come across an statue of Stork or a Black Necked Crane particular to Leh, Ladakh region.
This is called the Stork Circle.
There is a round about to take U turn and a Road to go towards the old time city centre called Israeli Market.
Since the name is little hard to remember or speak migrants worker call it चिड़िया चौक or some call it मुर्गा चौक।
